FAQ

•   What kind of clothes should I wear?

  Since the temperature will be around 27 to 30 degrees Celsius throughout the year, I think that summer clothes are good. However, it may be chilly on a windy day or in bad weather after boarding or diving, so it is convenient to have a coat. In the Philippines, there are shops, ferries, airplanes, and other places where the air conditioners are very effective, so it is safe to carry a haori at all times.

•   Can I use a credit card?

  We do not accept credit cards at Bohol stores. Please pay in cash.

•   Is there a currency exchange office?

  There are several stores near Alona Beach. Occasionally, you may not be able to exchange cash due to running out of cash, so I think it would be good to have some prepared. If you want to exchange money in advance, ask for a bill of less than 500 pesos to be included. Small local shops may not accept 1000 peso bills.

•   Where is the recommended restaurant?

  We have a map around Arona. Let us know what we recommend, so please let us know!

•   How is the security?

  Bohol is a very laid-back island. There are many tourists around Arona, and the security is good. However, please carry your valuables with you without leaving your skin. There are also many stray dogs, but they do not cause any harm. It's okay if you don't touch it or approach it.

•   How long in advance should I book Balicasag?

  Balicasag has a limit of 150 people per day depending on the local government (limited to license holders). In addition, advance reservation is required. It's the most popular point in Bohol, so it's best to make a reservation a few months in advance. Please do not forget to submit your C card at the time of booking!

•   What is the water temperature?

  The dry season is around 28-30°C. The rainy season (especially around December to March) reaches 26 to 27 degrees Celsius, and some people may feel cold even with a 3mm wetsuit, so it is safe to have an inner and other items. In addition, it may be chilly on a windy day or on bad days after diving, so it is convenient to have a haori coat.

•   Is there a drink on the boat?

  We offer a bottle of water and a warm drink (coffee or tea).

•   Does the boat have a toilet?

  Basically, there are some bunker boats that do not have a toilet for small groups.

•   Will you keep valuables and suitcases during the tour?

  Yes, you can store it at the shop, so don't worry.

•   Can I always see dolphins and sea turtles?

  You can see it with a high probability, but since it becomes a wildlife, I cannot promise you. However, the staff will do their best to find you, so please try to find them together!

•   Do you get seasick?

  I think that the bunker boat sways less, but when it is rugged, the boat may sway. If you are vulnerable to sea sickness, we recommend that you prepare a motion sickness.

•   Is there any age restriction?

  There is no particular age limit. However, if you are diving, those over the age of 60 are voluntary, and those over the age of 70 are mandatory.Please submit the PADI medical certificate.

•   Is there a tour to Oslob?

  Currently, there are no tours available. If you're thinking of staying in Oslob, Emerald Green Santander is available. Also, please contact us as there is a Jinbe snorkel tour on Bohol Island.

•   Is there anything good to bring?

  Sunglasses, sunscreen (use a natural biodigradable product, sunscreen that does not contain "oxybenzene", etc.), insect repellent, haori, water-soluble tissue or wet towel. Also, if you leave sweets, ants will come, so it is convenient to have a zip lock. One towel will be given to each customer who uses our tour.
